How can I share my account with another parent or caregiver?
We don’t officially support multiple parents (guardians, spouses, caregivers) yet. In the meantime, however, you can share a login and it mostly works :).
How it works (and some limitations)
- All of you can review and edit kids' devices and settings in the Screenable app.
- All of you will receive notifications from the Screenable app.
- Only the account's primary email will receive the weekly email report, or account-related emails.
- Screenable settings will be shared by all users. So for example, if one caregiver turns off notifications in the Screenable app settings, it will turn them off for all others as well.
How to set it up
- Make sure the Screenable app is installed on all caregivers’ phones.
- One caregiver should create an account and connect at least one kid's device.
- Sign out of your account, then sign back in.
- When you get the sign-in link to your email, forward it to the other caregiver and they will also be able to use it to sign in.
- Heads up: it expires after one hour, so act quick! Otherwise you’ll have to sign out and back in again to get another link.
- If only one of you wants to receive Screenable notifications, control this in each of your phone's (OS-level) settings, since turning it off in Screenable will turn it off for all caregivers. Here's how to control notifications.
