I'm having trouble with the links that are emailed to me. What should I do?
We email you confirmation links whenever you sign in, create your account, or change your email address. We avoid passwords for various reasons, but at least partially it's because that's the way the world is moving, to a password-less future.
Common problems & solutions
- If you are not receiving the emails, please check your spam folder. They land there more often than you’d think! If they’re not there, please contact support.
- You need to open the emails on your iPhone or iPad (whichever device has the Screenable app) and tap the link for us to be able to sign you in.
If your phone does not receive email
If you do not have your email available on your iPhone or iPad, you’ll need to get the link to that device in another way. A few examples of how you might do that:
- Forward the email to an email address you have available on your phone.
- Copy the sign-in link (right-click the link and click “Copy link address”) and message it to yourself in a way you can receive on your phone, e.g. text message, Facebook Messenger, etc.
- AirDrop it from another device. Open the link in Safari and go to File > Share, then choose AirDrop. Make sure both devices are nearby, turned on, and have AirDrop enabled.
- Open a browser on your phone and manually enter the address
