My reports are slightly off. Could it be a time zone problem?
Screenable uses your time zone to determine midnight, which dictates the daily and weekly cutoff for activity on kids' devices.
When do you set the time zone?
We save your time zone only once, when you first create your account. It does not automatically update if you change time zones. This is for a few reasons. For one example, if parents are traveling temporarily, they often still want their reports sent using their home time zone.
What happens if the time zone is not correctly set?
If your time zone for your account is not correct, you could receive information that seems off, for example with an app download that says it happened the day after you know it really happened.
I suspect I have a time zone problem. What should I do?
This often happens for people who move to a new time zone. You are not able to change the time zone on your own account, so please contact us and we'll do it for you.
