How and why should I force-sync settings?

When screen time settings or limits are changed for a kid, it can take up to 5 minutes (from when the kid's device has internet connection) for the changes to be applied. If you want them to sync faster, for instance if you're testing that the changes have been made, you can force-sync them from your kid's device, as follows:

1. Get your kid's device in hand, and open the Screenable kid app on it.
2. Tap Sync settings.
3. Close the kid app and notice that the changes have been applied.
