How can I disable Screenable on a kid's device?
To remove Screenable entirely
If you're trying to remove Screenable from a kid's device forever, check out how to remove a device from your account. Otherwise, to temporarily disable it, read on.
To disable screen time limits
If you want to pause screen time limits temporarily, like if you're going on vacation, then disable each limit as follows.
- In the Screenable parent app, go to the Home tab and tap on your kid.
- Select the device you want to disable limits for (if they have more than one).
- Scroll down to Daily Limits and tap on the limit you want to disable.
- Disable the limit.
- If there are multiple limits, repeat for each limit you want to disable.
To temporarily disable the Screenable service
We don't typically recommend this, as it will also turn off any content filtering (like blocking adult websites). Only use it if you really want Screenable to stop functioning entirely on a kid's device.
- In the Screenable parent app, go to the Home tab and tap on your kid.
- Select the device you want to disable (if they have more than one).
- Turn on or off the Enable Screenable toggle (it should be near the top).
