How do I reset Screenable on a kid's device?
There are times you might want to reset Screenable on a device, for instance if you're giving the device to another kid in the family. Here are your options:
- If things aren't working right, first trying troubleshooting the kid's device that's not reporting correctly.
- If you just want to temporarily stop screen time restrictions, disable Screenable on a kid's device.
- If you want to hand down a device to another kid, then best thing is to fully remove the device first and start the process over with the other kid.
- Also, if the previous kid is done with screen time monitoring entirely, remove them from Screenable.
- If you're want to revert the Screenable kid app back to its initial/default state, you can just delete the app and reinstall it from the App Store, then use the parent app to start the process of adding a kid's device.
- Note that if it's already managing screen time, you'll need the parent's Apple/iCloud email & password (and you'll also need to be online).
- If you want to stop Screenable entirely on all your kid's devices, consider deleting your account.
